PHYSICAL PROTOTYPE EVIDENCE
How is a sew-in dry pocket positioned in beach shorts?
For apparel brands, importers and trading companies developing made-to-order board shorts, this public record shows a sew-in pocket installed in a physical beach-shorts prototype, including placement, phone insertion, visible closure operation, and front, side and back views. Private procurement records support the specified FIDLOCK HERMETIC project direction, but this public video does not establish serial-level identity between the filmed unit and those documents.

READ THIS BEFORE USING THE VISUALS
A faster way to discuss a brief.
Not proof of production.
Compare decisions
Use the visuals to choose a waistband, panel, trim or artwork direction before a technical package is complete.
Factory execution
They do not prove sampling, bulk production, capacity, quality, delivery, stock, shipment, buyer approval or customer endorsement.
Your actual brief
Send company identity, destination market, quantity per style, timing and a tech pack, artwork file, physical reference or clear requirements.
SEVEN PROCUREMENT DECISIONS
Choose the part
you want to discuss.
Do not ask the factory to copy the whole image. Mark the useful construction or artwork feature, then confirm it against your own product and target market.
AI CONCEPT / 01Fixed-waist base
Fixed waist or elastic waist?
Use this direction to discuss the waistband, front lacing, side insert, back pocket and target fit. A production brief still needs measurements, fabric and closure details.
- Waistband construction
- Sample size and target fit
- Pocket and closure details
AI CONCEPT / 02Color-block side panels
How many side-panel colors?
Treat the colored sections as a panel-layout discussion, not a finished specification. Confirm whether each area is a sewn panel, printed artwork or applied trim.
- Panel or print construction
- Color split by pattern piece
- Seam and pocket position
AI CONCEPT / 03Decorative side tape
Stock tape or custom tape?
Confirm tape width, colors, supplier minimum, color matching and performance expectation. A custom-developed trim can change the practical MOQ and schedule.
- Tape width and material
- Stock or custom colors
- Supplier minimum and timing
AI CONCEPT / 04Vertical placement graphic
How should artwork cross the panels?
Confirm the position on every pattern piece and its relationship to the pocket, side seam and hem. The concept image does not replace a separate artwork file.
- Front and back artwork files
- Placement from seam and hem
- Pocket and seam clearance
AI CONCEPT / 05Tonal large-scale repeat
How large should the repeat be?
A low-contrast design still needs an exact repeat size, direction and color target. The fabric and print method are reviewed against the actual artwork.
- Repeat width and height
- Direction and color target
- Fabric and print compatibility
AI CONCEPT / 06Small repeat print
How dense should the repeat be?
Confirm motif rights, spacing, direction, color count and scale. Buyers should send artwork or references they are entitled to use.
- Motif rights and source
- Spacing and scale
- Color count and direction
AI CONCEPT / 07Engineered hem print
How should placement change by size?
Lower-leg artwork needs a position and scale for each pattern size. Confirm the front-to-back transition before the sample is used as a bulk reference.
- Position by pattern size
- Front-to-back transition
- Approved sample reference
DE-IDENTIFIED BUYER QUESTIONS
What buyers need before development.
These questions are paraphrased from real inbound B2B sourcing conversations. No customer name, brand name, verbatim message text, contact detail, private product file, quoted price or customer-specific commercial term is published.
Can a new women’s surfwear brand start before its Tech Pack is complete?
Yes. A business buyer can begin with a written brief, clear reference images, a size chart or a physical sample. Jinfengtu first reviews the pattern-development and fit-correction work that is still required. Price, sample scope and timing are reviewed only after the missing inputs are clear.
What should a buyer send for a women’s mid-rise board shorts fit review?
Send the destination market, target wearer, sample size, finished waist, rise, outseam, leg opening, size range and preferred fit. Also state the fabric weight, stretch direction and recovery requirements, waistband construction, pocket position, and whether an inner brief or lining is required.
Can recycled stretch fabric, side-panel artwork and embroidery be reviewed in one project?
Yes, but they are reviewed as separate material, artwork and construction inputs. Confirm the target fiber composition, documentation required, artwork rights, print placement, embroidery size and backing. Fabric availability, composition, supplier documentation, certification status, testing requirements, MOQ and timing must be checked for the selected material and project.
How are MOQ and sampling reviewed for a small multi-style launch?
For a 2-to-4-style launch, send the quantity per style, color and size split, target date and current design-file status. Suitable polyester heat-transfer or sublimation projects can start from 30 pieces per style, while recycled fabrics, embroidery, custom trims or complex construction may require higher minimums. The factory confirms one project-specific route after reviewing the complete brief.
What product examples can a board shorts factory responsibly share before development begins?
A factory should share only product images that it created or commissioned and has documented rights to publish, or specific third-party assets covered by explicit written authorization for public use. Removing names or logos does not by itself create publication rights, so customer artwork, labels, order details and customer-specific product files must not be republished. Buyers can use the public product reference library as a secondary category reference; for a project-specific development review, build one structured RFQ.
The sourcing questions are real. The customer relationship stays private.
This section records recurring procurement decisions, not a customer endorsement, confirmed order, approved sample, material certificate or production result. Relevant pattern, pocket and process actions are documented separately in the public records on this website, each with its own evidence limits.
TURN A DIRECTION INTO A FACTORY REVIEW
Four inputs before
we discuss a sample.
A picture can start the conversation. These inputs make the conversation useful for costing, material review and sample planning.
Choose the feature
Name the waist, panel, trim or print feature you want to use. If several concepts are relevant, state which part comes from each.
State the business order
Send the company or brand, destination market, quantity per style and color, size range and required delivery window.
Send usable files
Provide a tech pack, artwork, measurements, physical reference or clear photos. State whether pattern development or fit correction is required.
Confirm the cost drivers
List fabric, lining, pockets, closures, labels, packing and inspection needs. We review what is missing before confirming the next step.
Suitable projects can start from 30 pieces per style.
It is not automatic for every concept. Fixed-waist construction, custom-dyed tape, multiple panel colors, special print setup, lining, labels and packing can increase the practical minimum. Sample-development cost is reviewed project by project; any complimentary first sample is an exception for a qualified overseas B2B project after the brief, expected order and commercial fit are reviewed. Courier or freight, special materials, tooling and additional revisions are confirmed separately.

How we check a V1-to-V2 board shorts pattern revision
This supplemental record documents one internal pattern-revision check. The dry-pocket prototype remains this page's primary video and only VideoObject.
READABLE TIMESTAMP RECORD
Transcript and verification points
The wording follows the approved English captions and visible measurement sequence. It does not add a customer, order, price, complete paper-pattern specification or approval claim.
- The opening question introduces a V1-to-V2 pattern revision, and the V1 paper pattern is identified.
- The V1 waist reference is measured at 27 cm.
- The V2 paper pattern is identified.
- The same visible waist reference point on V2 is measured at 28 cm.
- The recorded dimensional difference is 1 cm.
- The same reference point is checked before the revision moves to the next review step.
- Boundary: this comparison does not confirm final fit or production approval.

Why NTGF appears
on the concepts.
NTGF is Ethan Yu's apparel brand. The visuals on this page come from an owner-controlled NTGF concept library and are used only to discuss possible design directions.
ntgfwear.cn is the NTGF brand website. Jinfengtuapparel.com is the separate B2B factory-inquiry website. No customer style is shown on this page, and the visuals do not document a Jinfengtu order.
Review the company and brand boundary →BEFORE YOU SEND A CONCEPT
Questions business buyers ask.
For brands, importers, wholesalers, trading companies and sourcing teams—not individual shoppers.
Which visuals are concepts and which are physical development records?
The seven design-direction images are owner-controlled AI-generated concepts for early OEM and ODM discussion; they are not customer products, physical samples, available stock, production records or completed orders. Separately, the lead video is a privacy-reviewed physical beach-shorts prototype record, and the pattern-revision item is a supporting development record. Neither record proves customer approval, bulk consistency, delivery or an order.
Can an AI concept image be sent directly to production?
No. Choose the useful elements, then confirm measurements, fabric, construction, artwork, trims, labels, packing and approval requirements. A concept image is a discussion aid, not a tech pack or approved sample.
Can a new board shorts style start from 30 pieces?
Suitable made-to-order projects can start from 30 pieces per style. Fabric, print setup, color and size split, custom trims, lining, construction and packing can change the confirmed minimum.
How is sample-development cost reviewed?
Sample-development cost is reviewed project by project. A complimentary first development sample may be considered only for a qualified overseas B2B project after the buyer brief, expected order and commercial fit are reviewed. Courier or freight, special materials, tooling and additional revisions are confirmed separately.
Will Jinfengtu publish a buyer's design or reference photos?
No customer design, downstream-buyer identity or private project file is published without a separate written marketing authorization and a final privacy review. Private references are used only for the agreed project review.
Does an AI concept guarantee an exclusive design?
No. AI output is not a guarantee of uniqueness or third-party rights clearance. Final artwork, trademarks and distinctive product features need an ownership and similarity review before public release or bulk use.
